A reply I posted on abortion,

OK guys the Christian right makes up a minority in the CPC, have you not been to the conventions? Have you not read the party constitution? By 75-80% vote by delegates, the CPC will not introduce nor support any bills on abortion. Period.

If you want us kicked out of power very quickly, and for a very long time, if you want the moderates, the libertarians, the fiscal conservatives, the Quebec nationalists and the Red Tories to leave en mass, keep pushing the abortion issue. We have always been a party of coalitions and compromises. Blow the party apart on this issue and you will give the LPC a majority for decades.

Shut up.

The Pope is a retard

What an idiot.
Gay marriage and abortion are insidious and dangerous threats facing the world today??
How about poverty, lack of clean water, lack of education, lack of medical care, pollution, war, famine, genocide and a multitude of other issues that most of the world deems to be more important the gay marriage and abortion.
Wait how about child abuse....?

FATIMA, Portugal (AP) — Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday called abortion and same-sex marriage some of the most “insidious and dangerous” threats facing the world today, asserting key church teachings as he tried to move beyond the clerical abuse scandal

Parties strike deal on Afghan docs

Avoided a possible snap election??
Are you kidding me??
Do you really believe that 100 MP's from all parties who are entitled next month to a full government pension are going to bring the house down over this trivial issue at this point in time?? No f***ing chance in hell that was ever going to happen.
Great reporting guys, keep it up.

OTTAWA - MPs have struck an eleventh-hour deal to avert a parliamentary showdown — and possible snap election — over how to handle sensitive Afghan detainee documents.

The government and opposition agreed Friday to establish a small, all-party committee sworn to secrecy to examine the disputed material.

RC teachers

Ya know I understand the RC school board wanting its teachers to be RC, but in accepting public $$ for their schools, it's wrong. They should hire the most qualified person to apply for the job, not the most qualified RC teacher.

That being said, getting back to the John Tory and the Ontario PC school funding nightmare that ended Johns shot at becoming Premier. All faiths should be funded equally. Islamic schools, Hebrew schools, Christain schools, Sikh schools and FSM schools. All, or none. Personally I believe none should receive even a dime from public taxes, but thats political suicide to make that policy. Such a double standard we have in this province.
